Proud Mom Report #1

I name this post "Proud Mom Report #1" because I'm sure there will be more than one such report. Well, probably many more to be honest. I have kids that give me lots of reasons to be proud. My kids are beautiful, smart, kind, loving, etc. etc. etc. But today my brag is for Cooper.

Cooper is a wonderful actor/singer and is currently performing at Casa Manana in Fort Worth in the title role of "Pinocchio." He was asked to help out with show promotion by performing and being interviewed on "Good Morning Texas" - the morning show for WFAA. Cooper and two of his co-stars, Ashley and Aubrey, performed "You've Got No Strings" live on the air and Cooper was interviewed. He was so nervous - not about performing - but about being interviewed. He wanted to do a good job and be a great representative for Casa Manana. He did a fantastic job!

It was really a fun morning - getting to see the WFAA studios in Victory Plaza at American Airlines Center, watching Cooper go into Starbucks in full Pinocchio costume (long nose and all), watching him stand there so tall and grown up as he was interviewed, and seeing him perform on live t.v. I just have to agree with my brother though, who called and said how excited he was for Cooper, except he didn't like how deep Coop's voice is getting. Definitely getting deeper every day. Growing up way too fast!!!

The Journey Begins

Today I begin my journey into the world of blogging. I discovered blogging when a friend suggested that I create a Twitter account. I followed her advice and over the past year have started following many bloggers – moms, photographers, women saving money for their family, scrapbookers, homeschoolers. I love getting a peek into their lives, love getting to expand my knowledge, love seeing that there are many women out there that are a lot like me. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to give it a shot myself. So here I go – off into the world of blogging. I hope you enjoy it too.
